As we get into the season we want to share with you an update about something our family has been going through this past year. Some of you may have heard about this through the grapevine so we want to give you all the info! Last June I was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor and underwent an eight hour surgery to have it removed. The surgery was a success and although my recovery has been difficult and lengthy I’m getting back to my usual activities and to feeling like myself. I was very fortunate to have an amazing surgeon and excellent care throughout this experience. So, you probably won’t notice anything different this season except I have a pretty amazing scar on the back of my head!
